Until 1999, Macau was a Portuguese territory, but today is belongs to China, and is separated from Hong Kong by a mere hour long ferry ride. Popular favorites include the Venetian Macau, the Grand Waldo Hotel, and the Grand Hyatt Macau. Each is a giant complex housing shops, venues, restaurants, and of course casinos.
