China holiday is a vast nation, and is home to many historical landmarks, thriving cities and scenic destinations. Visitors to China can also find many amusement and theme parks throughout the country. Here is a brief guide to the most popular ones, and what to expect from each one:
Minsk World: This theme park in Shenzhen is based on a military theme, and the main attraction is the large Russian aircraft carrier. Over 5 million tourists visit the park each year, and enjoy games, rides and musical performances with a distinct military theme. The cost of admission is just under $17 AUD.
World Chocolate Wonderful: This recently opened theme park is found just North of Beijing, and is based on a love of all things chocolate. See a scale model of the Great Wall of China carved from chocolate, the famed Xian terra cotta soldiers made from chocolate molds and other displays and exhibits relating to the manufacture and history of chocolate. Admission for adults is $12 AUD.
Tianjin Water Park: This water amusement park in the city of Tianjin is one of the oldest parks in the country, built in 1951. Along with row boats to explore the lakes and rivers in the park, there are also showcases of local and European architecture, beautifully manicured gardens and a large ferris wheel. Admission for adults and children is $8 AUD.
